SAFE BOATING Life Jackets Simply wearing a
life jacket dramatically reduces a person's risk of drowning, should a boating
mishap occur. Wearing a life jacket should be as second nature as placing a
child in a car seat, or putting on your seat belt when riding in a car. It
is a small action that greatly increases your chances of surviving an unexpected
fall into the water. The next time you go boating, remember your life
jacket doesn't help if it's not on you. Don't just pack it - WEAR
your life jacket.
